I have 70lb. Years ago I used it for my muzzleloader. Need $70. Can be picked up in south central Ne. I’m sure shipping would be very expensive

You can ship 70 pounds in a flat rate box. Large is less than 20 bucks and medium less than 15 bucks.

Won’t make any friends at the post office

As a co-worker once said when told the way he was about to do somethin’ might make the boss mad-“l’m here for finance, not romance”.

I’ve had numerous boxes delivered here and no problems with the mail carrier. Might be different if yer on a foot route. But then they’d just leave you a card tellin’ ya to pick it up.

I'm thinking a guy would really have to use a lot of tape.

I was thinking a $1 a lb for it. If I split it up that would be $35 for the lead and if flat rate box is $15 you would have $50 into it. Is that what you are considering?

Yep. Tape is your friend. When l shipped any l would stack it between two pieces of cardboard cut to fit the box, then wrap in one of the free tyvek envelopes from the P.O., tape, tape, tape. Then after boxing tape the heck out of the box too.

I received a 70lb box once that had been tossed around so much that it looked more like a ball than a box but thanks to the inner packaging and the tape on the box it was intact.
