I melted 26 pounds of lead into ingots. Didn't realize I had that much lead laying around. Probably have that much more. In the past I made lead figurines as chest men. I guess I need to get me a round ball mould Just you in this batch I could pour over 1400 RB's.

I've never been a chest man. I'm more of a leg man myself.

But I do play chess from time to time. :rotf:

I bought a chess set that I wanted to duplicate and used them to make plaster molds. They were made to be separated to remove the men and pour another. I made several sets.

I wound up with 60 plus pounds of lead. That is enough for 3200 plus 45 caliber round balls.

SWMBO made me sell off 200 lbs of my lead because we will be moving. I still have 100-150 lbs or thereabout. She wants me to get rid of that, too. I don't know how much I'll be able to keep :idunno:

She also wants me to get rid of all my powder and loaded ammo as well. :cursing:

Somethings are hard to let go. It will be hard to tell her bye but you got to do what you got to do.

200 lbs is what? 2 five gallon buckets...

That'd be a cold day in hell

The problem may be that she is reading the moving company guidelines. Many movers will refuse to transport any liquids, aerosols, ammunition, flammable items like smokeless of black powder, fireworks, boat flares, etc for fear of something damaging your household goods. To move any of these items, as well as small valuables such as guns, camera & jewelry, as well as pets and any potted plants, you will likely have to personally transport them. How big of a truck do you have & will it pull a U-haul?
