A 600-ton lead counterweight was placed onto a post-tensioned concrete ring on the north side of the tower foundation.

600-ton lead counterweight!!!

That would make 15,412,844 musket balls .735 caliber... :redthumb: :hmm: :winking:

That would also make 63,157,894 round balls for the .45 caliber rifle...

600 tons times 2000 = 1,200,000 pounds...

1,200,000 pounds times 7,000 = 8,400,000,000 grains...

8,400,000,000 grains divided by round ball's weight = number of round balls you can make...

Never mind all that. I want to see a cannon that can shoot a 600-ton round ball!

Yeah Baby!! :haha:
That could ole Mt St Helens a run for it's money. :shocking:

63,157,894 round balls for a .45cal rifle? Oh my aching shoulder! How much 3f do I have to buy?

According to my calculator you would need to buy 451,128 lbs of 3F to shoot up all those balls, providing you used a load of 50 gr. Better start saving your money. The last case I bought figured out to $9.25 a lb, including shipping, so that would make your total $4,172,934. :blah:
