Leather Straps For Powder Horn

Hello,

Just picked a new to me possibles bag with a wide leather shoulder strap. I would like to attach straps for a horn. Can anyone explain what I need and how to do this? Pictures are also nice, you know a picture is worth a thousand words. :thumbsup:

There isn't much to attaching horn straps to hunting pouch strap. Make your horn strap the length you want, with a wider, kinda rounded arrow head shape on the ends to provide enough surface to sew 'em on.

That said, I found the short strap limits the amount of travel of the horn. IMHO, it's too much of a pain to have the horn strap attached to the pouch. Separate straps give much more flexibility.

Try it both ways and see which you like better.
