I have a well used .451 RB mold. It was my first mold probably 12 years old. I’m not sure why but it has started to throw out balls that are slightly off. The have a slight lip around the seam, it appears that the two halves of the mold are not perfectly aligned anymore. The alignment pins are still intact though. I have still cast and shot the balls out of one of my revolvers and haven’t noticed any difference in plinking and target shooting. I am no perfect shot though. I’m sure it could have some effect on accuracy for precision shooting. If anyone would like a cheap mold for plinking or just getting started I would be glad to let it go for $10.
