Found at flea mkt today. I've always said I could do without one but at $25 I couldn't walk away. And loaded with lead.

Great find and a bargain at $25 
I have the dip style Lee pot & used it for years and never had any issues with mine..
The heat control knob /thermostat is the only thing that I think could have been better..

I have been using Lee pots since 1978. No fires at my place. Did have a Lyman pot short out but still no fire as I was there as I always am when pots are plugged in.

I have the same model. You did good! You probably already know this but with mine I'm sure to leave it full of lead to the top after each use or it will rust bad.
Great deal! Same one that I've got, but I paid retail. Works great.

I've owned two of the older ones. One finally died, the other got sent back to Lee for their $20 remodel. It came back in the very same shape as when it was purchased BRAND NEW. I've cast a LOT and the old pot is now ailing a bit but still works as far as I know.
