20yrs ago I I recieved a bad shoulder injury causing me to go fron shooting right handed to left.
All the guns today (modern) are mainly for right handed shooters
A month ago a good friend took me out to shoot percussion ml
After shooting and a long disscussion I fell in love with ml
Now I have put together a percussion kit and looking at flintlock
To my surprise is that there are left handed guns everywhere
What have I been missing all these yrs

Alot! and once you've been bitten by that nasty ol' blackpowder bug it will be a never Afliction! so just :surrender: now and get it over with. I have only one rifle that I shoot alot in .50 cal. Now I don't really need one in .45 or .54 but I am thinking seriously of getting a left handed GPR in one or the other. Why? just to shoot something a little different and have an excuse to go to the range more. to quote "find the load that it likes or I like".!

I'm left handed, but right eye dominant. I shot my first ml last weekend. It was a RH percussion gun. I shot pretty good. As a lefty, you learn to adapt and do most anything either lefty or righty. It wasn't really a big deal for me to shoot right handed all day.

I still shoot my 12ga shotgun lefty though. Might kill more birds if I switched to right handed with that gun. :hmm:

There were 2 guys in the club who were right handed, but they had left handed guns because they were left eye dominant. At first I thought it was kinda silly, but they explained - ya can't fight what God gave ya. Since those guys were left eye dominant, they just went with it and bought lefty guns. Both of 'em were darn good shots, hitting 21 out of 23 targets.
