Who offers complete lefties??
I would guess half stock.
Searchin for a friend.

Lyman makes left hand versions of their Great Plains and Hawken rifles. I find as long as it's a right hand percussion gun it don't bother me much. I ain't tried a right handed rock lock, though. :winking:

As mentioned Lyman makes the great plains and the deerstalker in left handed, both flint and percussion. Dixie gun works carrtys their hawkens that is really a lyman trade rifle with brass adornment. traditions makes several left handed in both flint and percussion.

Last time I looked at one of their catalogs, Dixie was still offering their Tennessee Mountain Rifle in LH versions, .32 and .50 caliber, if you want a fullstock. I vaguely recall reading something to the effect that they'd discontinued this rifle (but it might have been the residual effect of some -- ahem -- controlled substance I partook of many years ago, or the voices in my head lying to me again....), but, if this is the case, you could do a search to find out if one distributor or another might have some still in stock.

Track of the Wolf has a couple for sale. You can at least look at the pictures to see what they look like. :hatsoff:

Mongrel, one of the guys in our club bought a Dixie left hand flint Tn poor boy about 3 years ago, and at that time the Dixie person told him he was lucky as they were discontinuing the gun in left hand...don't know anymore than that..Hank

I'm a lefty and I just buy right handed guns. Not a big deal unless you care about cheek pieces and such.

My righthanded flint rifle freaked me out when I first shot it no it's no big deal either.

If you can't bet them join them. All but one of my bolt rifles are right handed as well.

I have a Lyman Deerstalker No. 11 cap, 50 cal. in Left Hand. Good shoot'n and good look'n rifle.

My brother is a lefty that shoots handguns with either hand as I do. He shoots right handed bolt guns and auto loaders fine..but has trouble with lever guns {I don't know why} and muzzleloaders...he ended up getting some lefty ball and cap guns and I think he enjoyed shopping for them and had many choices, he had told me he was suprised how many choices he had

Pittsburghunter,
Everything I own is right hand, when I did buy a New Englander in left, I found it a bit awkward to use and eventually sold it...Stoney
