Sold pending funds. This is a Left-Handed .50 Southern Mountain Rifle. It has a browned .38" barrel with 1:66 twist and a very good bore. There are some minor scratches, but no rust. Blade front sight and interesting rear sight. Actually makes a tight sight picture. Top flat has maker's name and 1979 in engraved script. Has an R.E. DAVIS lock and set triggers (set before cocking). The stock is a dark stained Maple with 14" LOP. The butt is in the Poor Boy style, with no buttplate. Just an antler heel and steel toe plate. There had been a carved antler grease hole insert, but it got knocked out when shipper was packing it. Easiest option is to buy a correct patchbox and install it. A silver CVA Mountain Rifle type would be easiest toinstall, as the existing hole would only require slight enlargement. Minor handling marks otherwise. Rifle weighs about 7.75 lbs. $750 + Shipping.
