Got my barrel back from TC with a new breech plug, installed for free. And they put fiber optic sights on by mistake. I called and they will replace the regular sights for free as well.
I took it out over the weekend and tried the fiber optic sights. This was during a snow storm and 23 degrees out in far northern WI. Here is the target shot at 50 yds. from a bench, 80 gr. 777 and PRB. Seven shots, was too cold to continue. Hope I posted the picture correctly.

Good shooting! :)
As I may have mentioned in another post, there is absolutly nothing wrong with the T/C barrel design complete with it's 1:48 twist and fairly shallow rifleing.

Three of my TC's still have factory barrels on them and they shoot very well - well enough that the dead animals don't know the difference. :winking:
Do shoot the matches with aftermarket/custom barrels 'cause I have them though.

That's a GR-RRRRRRREAT target! I'd have no complaints about a gun that shoots like that.

Over the years I've had "a few" T/C rifles, and none of them ever eally let me down. (There were some instances were I just plain goofed though...) Sold or traded them--just to get other things I "wanted more", at the time. Lots of regrets there.

MAYBE after the Christmas bills get paid off (that'll take a while!); I'll pick up a nice used Renegade .56cal smoothbore--that needs a lot of work and TLC--and also find a rifle barrel that someone has pulled off, and I'll fix myself a nice swap barrel setup.

Regards, and shoot safely,
WV_Hillbilly

PS You sure you don't want to keep those sights?

I think I might just leave this one alone and leave the sights on it. It just shoots too godd to fool around with changing back to standard sights. I have others to shoot at more traditional shoots.
