For those who have lined a hunting pouch with fabric. Do you glue the fabric to the leather? If so what type of glue do you use? If not glue, do you do something else to make assembly easier?

I’ve built a few pouches, but I’d like to line my next one with ticking, and bind the flap. Thanks for any suggestions.

I borrowed some “505 spray“ from my wife’s sewing room. It’s not a glue, more like a weak adhesive, but it will hold firmly enough for assembly.

Thanks for all the replies. It looks like 3 recommendations for spray adhesive, 1 for Elmer’s and 1 for tacking pieces together. It looks like I have som testing to do.
There are lots of different glue/adhesives that will work, just avoid any that get stiff when they dry and you will be fine.

Staples work too. Remove them as the seam gets close to them. The holes will disappear when dye is applied.
