There will be a Living History Show in Freemont, Ohio on February 4 & 5, 2006.

Hope everyone from the northern Ohio area can attend. Olie and I will be there as well as the Leprechaun!

It's at the Sandusky County Fairgroun right off the Ohio Turnpike.

hey blah, will there be trade tables and stuff to waste my money on?? or just stuff to look at?? :hmm: sounds like a fun time and a break from winter blahs! :rotf:

I don't know just where Warren Mi.is but if you go south on 75 to Toledo-Perrysburg and get off 75 on St. Rt. 20. Go East on St.Rt.20 to Fremont ,Oh., go around by-pass, get off on St.Rt. 53, go South about 1/4 mile and you will be at the corner of the Fair grounds. You can turn left at the traffic light, go about half a block to the north entrance or go straight ahead 1 block, turn left to the front entrance.

You can get on the Ohio Turnpike off of 75 at Toledo-Perrysburg. I am not sure just where but there should be signs. Go East on the Turnpike to the Fremont Exchange, go South on St.Rt 53 to Fairgrounds, corner of North St and something ( don't know the name)

Hope to see you
Olie

I don'tr know just where S.E.Ohio is but if you can find St.Rt. 20, maybe St.Rt. 250 to Norwak, Ohio, then St.Rt. 20 , go west to Fremont, Ohio.

There is a lot of things to spend money on at the Show. I am not sure how many gun parts, but there is a lot of cloth and patterns. Bring you mikes to check for patching matteral, there should be linen at the show.

Smiling Fox should be there with all of his goodys.I am not sure but I think that Davis Locks of Perryburg should be there.

Hope to see you at the show

Of coarse there will! There's always something to spend on our needfull hobby!

Don't say 'waste', the women folk will get their undies in a bunch and demand we spend that money on better things.....like taking them out shopping!

Shopping! Now that's a story unto itself. I hate it when Mrs. Blahman asks me if I want to go shopping! How can you say no?

"Ahhhh, no dear, I really don't want to go shopping with you...I'd much rather have a sharp stick in the eye!"

But I end up going anyway and there I stand, just like the other three guys: in the "Womens" department watching our wives go through rack after rack after rack of clothes. Never trying any on, just ruffling through the clothes!

I could be shooting, or painting the house, or making a gun, or shooting, or buying some parts, or shooting.....did I mention shooting?

But, no....hear I stand like a kept man....surrounded by womens clothes, the screech of hangers as they are slid from one spot to another.....and then.....she does it!

She asks me that one question, that single question that drives me outa my mind: "What do you think about this one?"

For crying out loud woman! Can't you ask me something a little easier like "Do I look fat?"

See, if I say "Gee, it looks ok." and she buys it and finds out she really doesn't like it, then I'm to blame. If I say "I don't think you'll look good in that." she'll get annoyed and say samething sarcastic like "Well!!!! What do you know? All you ever do is wear tee shirts and jeans!" Then she's not happy either......

So as I see it, us guys don't ever waste money or time on our stuff! :haha:

Deaddawg & Rich C:

I said the wrong thing when I said to get off of St.Rt.20 at St.Rt.53 South. You have to get off of St.Rt.20 at St.Rt.53 NORTH. When you get off of St.Rt.20, you have to go South to North Street. You should be at the corner of the Fairgrounds.

Blahman can you help me tell people the directions?

Olie

The best way to get there is take the Turnpike to
exit 91 go south on rt53. At the third light you
are there. The Fairgounds are at the corner of
North St. and Rawson Ave.

Red Legged Scout:

Thamks for the diretions. Are you going to be at the show Saturday or Sunday. I think that I will be at the show Saturday.

Olie

How many going tomarrow? I'm going to brave the Super Bowl activities traffic through Detroit and try to get there. Going as a flatlander but should have a MLF card on the back of my hat, say HI if you see me. Have to go down to Mason, Oh. on Sunday for a week to Makino CNC. Anything down there I should see?

Rick.
