NOTE: Rifle barrel previously included sold separately. These GALLYONs are really nice modern fowlers from the folks at Investarm, makers of Lyman Great Plains Rifles. Gun is like new in factory box . The 30" barrel has a bright shiny bore. Appears unfired. I believe these are cylinder bored. Scroll engraving at breech. The European Walnut stock has checkered wrist. LOP is 14". Small blemish on right side of buttstock. Overall a 99%+ gun, no longer made. $650 + Shipping.

That's a lovely piece. And the rifling geometry looks as though it could do well with either patched ball, or hollow and solid base bullets. BigSky, thanks to you because your ads are almost like looking through the glass at a nice museum.

Aw, shucks. Thanks for the kind words.

This was the FIRST muzzle loading shotgun I ever bought NEW from Dixie gun works back in 1989….. paid $240 for it, believe it or not.

I don’t know now you do it, but you keep coming up with some of the most intriguing and tempting pieces.
