All my shooting bags could double as shelter for a company or at least a company.
So with my last build I wanted to make a bag more in keeping with what I see in paintings from the time. And made a simple 8X8 bag with a woven hemp strap.
Two days after completing my bag your vid came out... darn I do like that bag

I’ve done over 500 videos for YouTube, but this one on smoothbore shooting may be my favorite.

Like the bag. Have half a dozen deer hides going through the vegetable tanning process ( filled two 50 pound feed bags with shredded oak bark this spring) and could see myself making a pouch for each individual long rifle I have. Not sure how veggie tanned buckskin will work, but I have started that discovery journey.
