Looks like the main spring is broken.

No broken main spring, functions well, but the frizzen spring is rubbing on the lock plate a little. Will do some polishing. Just wanted to know if it is a Siler that VCB assembled?
I have at least one just like it. I’m guessing large siler by Vernon C Davis.

Kansas Kid has it. Siler built by Vernon Davis probably back in the 1970s or 80s.

Thank you Kansas Kid and dave_person. I have seen a couple of locks with VCD and a date stamp before. There is no hole for the lock bolts so I think I have a unused lock... Thanks again...
