Lock Tuning Question

I have been struggling lately trying to figure out how to tune one of my Siler flintlocks.
I’m not much of a musician so it’s not easy.
First of all, what key should it be in?

E# for any barrel shorter than 42.5 in. Try Am for longer barrels.

need to get the cabin creek 's, Brad and Shane to instruct you they are the Stravatos of lock tuning all my locks visit them to get tuned up(and they make great music bang bang)
