I have a friend who is looking for a rifle. He is trying to get into reenacting and realized too late that his .54 GPR flint rifle wasn't what he really wanted.
His primary interest is in the colonial era between the F and I war and 1800.
Being a man of very limited means, he needs to move his current rifle on and use the procedes toward a more PC longgun.
I'm sure he would be open to anything that would fit the time period, musket, rifle or smoothbore. While not the highest priority, he would like to hunt with it as well.
Keeping in mind his financial status, any suggestions or aid in making this happen would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Track of the Wolf would probably take the GPR in trade against anything on their website. Another way to get good money out of it, is to remove the barrel and sell the barrel and stock in seperate auctions on EBay. Ebay doesn't allow the sale of complete guns.

I would check the classifieds of many of the ML forums there are often very good deals in the 500-750 dollar range, or go with an in the white fron ERA or a similar mid level preoducer.
