Hello!

Not yet,

Long story short I ended up going with Gillmor for a fully bronze tube, when we last spoke in the summer we were looking at 6-8 months, so I'm going to touch base with him in the new year just to get a refined timeline.
Good , he just finished one for me , picking up in Jan

Outpost785,

No i still dont have it. He called me the other day to say hes getting ready to pour it and when i asked when it will be done he kinda trailed off. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If he called he will be calling soon ,he called me with the same and then sent a text message with it in lathe boring the barrel said it was ready

Update to my cannon acquisition process.

Ended up cancelling my bronze 6 pounder with Gillmor. The process was pretty informal from the start, my first contact with them last August, was told would be on the schedule for January/February. Called in January to touch base and was told a Hollywood production placed and order and I would be bumped to April/May. Called in April to touch base and the guy at Gillmor, who was very kind during the whole process seemed to have forgotten we had ever talked, throughout the process he had asked me to send him several emails with my info/what I want, and never got a single email back. So not sure what to make of all that.

A frustrating process to be sure, I've seen his barrels and they are absolutely top notch, and I know from our conversations he's busy as can be with big and I guess more important and time critical orders from producers.

I'm working to build a new reenactment unit in Massachusetts so I have a timeline to get up and running before the 250th cycle starts, and loose commitments and pushed deadlines wouldn't have worked.

I've since pivoted to a South Bend 3lb Verbruggen I got my hands on through the kind and generous assistance of a fellow MLF member which I'm having sent to Trail Rock for a carriage. I'll post more on that journey as it progresses.

Yeah i still aint got mine either 16 months and counting. I guess Taylor Sheridan and his Bass Reeves show and big monies cut in line.
