At Latta Plantation on September 4th and 5th there will be revolutionary war battle reenactments and historical camps and displays.
On Saturday we reenact the Battle of Charlotte. This was Cornwallis's invasion of North Carolina.
On Saturday we reenact the invasion, on Sunday
we show one of the reasons the British only stayed in Charlotte fourteen days. The Local militias denied the British the forage they needed to feed their men and horses.
The Hesse Kassel Jaeger Korps will be there which means I will be doing Ferguson Rifle demonstrations both days.
