My fusil does not spark well at least to me. It's a L&R lock. The main spring seems weaker than my soler locks. Other than make adjustments to the flint and clean the frizzen of any oil from cleaning might be on it. I'm not knowing enough in flintlocks. Can I get a southern spring but then will that over power the frizzen spring to much? And hardness of frizzen I don't have a clue on how to ck that.
Thanks
P.s. I'm getting quite attatched to the flintlock shooting. I've only got two but that's what I want yo shoot now. When I take the percussion out somethings missing. And I was just the opposite before.

Get a Jim Kibler lock and get someone to adapt it to your musket, if possible.

I ask about getting southern spring above.LOL

I'm sorry I meant can I get a Stronger spring for the main spring or a matched set that are stronger
