Had to empty my Klein fowler(pics at www.bricestultzhisblog.blogspot.com Sept. 2016) after leaving it loaded for 2mos. after turkey season. So after clearing the bird shot, I shot some round ball. Probably luck but it came out OK. 50yds offhand but hitting low. The other holes were me trying to hit higher and fighting the mirage. I was holding on the bottom of the green. Windage is OK, but It needs some sort of sight on the tang screw to raise the elevation.

Looks like holding on top of the green would be about right !

@George is correct. As we often mention, our shooting eye is the rear sight on a smooth bore. To raise the impact you need to see more of the barrel by changing the position of your cheek on the stock.
