Lyman 57SML on a T/C White Mountain Carbine?

Anyone installed one of these on their WMC?

How did it work out? Other than drilling and tapping the tang, was any other alteration to metal or the stock necessary?

Also, did you need to upgrade the front sight with the Lyman globe or a different blade sight?

Any and all advice most welcome.

it will work just fine on a white mountain carbine with no other mods than the extra hole in the tang. I like usin' a slightly higher front sight with a brass or fiber-optic bead but the factory sight should be fine.
