I have seen posts where folks have changed out their factory lock and/or triggers. L&R locks and Deerslayer triggers.

My question is how big of an improvement do you see for the money spent and what can a person expect if they replace these components?

My GPR trigger is not as good as my TC trigger or another investarms trigger I have. However, the lock has been very reliable.

Can't speak to any(if there are any) advantages to an L&R lock as I've never had any problems with my TC and Lyman locks. But as to the Deerslayer triggers, best 50 dollar improvement you can make to a TC rifle. And yeah, I know like everything else, they've gone up & cost a bit more than that now.

I have polished my Lyman locks and triggers and are as good as any L&R lock or Davis triggers that I have had on other rifles Ive built, they just need a little love! Save your money for a Kibler!

The locks are fine, clean and lubed, not a problem.
And in my opinion there is no need for the L&R rpl. Traditionalists seem to think the leaf spring is better than the coil,, that's the only market.
The DeerSlayer trigger is HUGE improvement in any T/C or Investarms rifle that will accept them.
It's basically about the geometry of the triggers within millimeters and tolerance. The DeerSlayer has a crispness and balance that niether T/C or Investarms can offer.
