Hello all,I just ordered a lyman flintlock kit 50 cal.I have never built a gun from kit and heard this one would be a good starter.I have no experience with a flintlock and would appreciate any pointers along the way. Thanks Brandon

L2H,.... Keep us updated on yore progress with the GPR kit, and don't hesitate to ask questions when in doubt!!

You'll do fine, and the GPR is a great "kit"!!

You're already off to a good start, both with this forum and with choosing a kit. Good chance to express some individuality and have a rifle not just exactly like others.
Take your time and don't get so eager to shoot that you short-cut the building process.
But Mostly, HAVE FUN!!
