I have an Investarms Cabelas "Hawken" and am ok with the way it shoots at 25 yds., but at 50 my groups fall apart. I think it is for the most part I have trouble seeing the sights clearly. I want to put a Lyman 57sml on with a 17 globe front. Anyone know if this gun has the .360 dovetail or the 3/8? I do not want to drive the sight out until I get the new sight so I can still shoot it in the meantime. I know this setup is not traditional, but I can't hit what I can't see.

It's the metric,, not 3/8.
Small triangle file (Dovetail file has 1 cutting edge) to fit the 3/8 is a standard procedure for a smith. The difference is only 15 thousands
