You probably could make it work without too much trouble. My concern is whether the vent will line up properly with the pan. You would have a bigger problem if it were percussion. Lyman uses the traditional style nipple bolster with the lock plate cut to accommodate it. T/C uses a ******* system where a slot is cut across the bottom of the bolster to straddle the lock plate.
I've got a t/c hawken barrel in my trade rifle stock, but I use a t/c percusion lock on that gun also. I have no problems with it, it shoots better than I can. I assume it would work the other way around!
