heres some stuf ive been working on while im laid off first is a big green river chefs knife i cut to kinda resemble a roach belly blade put it in a mule deer crown handle getting better at my fit to the handle still havent got any larger pins tho

next is a small neck knife made from a deer leg bone and an old paring knife its got a rawhide wrap, something ive come to like doing on knives a lot

this is a small utility style knife with a whitetail crown handle made from some kind of old forgecraft kitchen knife it was already used/sharpened in this profile

finally a butcher, its handforged but had no markings on it when i got it plain handles big rivets i put it in a deer leg bone handle , one like Claude has used before in a post that got me started re working these old kitchen blades thanks again Claude and thanks to my friend Raymond for the inlay idea on the sheath ive done em on pouches but no sheaths yet

this pouch is madee from some scrap leather i got recently has a jute strap, brass buckle and dee ring made by my wife this is a new pouch pattern we been wanting to try

this forum has been a great asset to me and i have learned a ton from you guys and the postings here i love to rework these old blades hopefully ill get to where i can make my own someday just dont have the space or tools yet

Hey they all look great. Really like that bag! You make all those sheaths too? Do you use the two needle method when sewing the leather stitching? Keep up the great work! :v

sometimes i use 2 needles but mostly just one specially on the sheaths its hard to use 2 needles on small ones

What do you use for pinning your scales on? I've used brass brazing rod pieces in the past. I have always liked brass' color.
 
thanks for the great compliments guys. use a nail for my pins right now but will be switching over to some copper rod stock that is 1/8 inch soon as it gets here. on my stitches i use an old ice pick for an awl and i put the stitches bout as far apat as the picks body is wide
