Working on my early colonial. I switched the lock from what TOTW offered and subed a JChambers early english. Not their error, I didn't want to wait for the back ordered lock and I found the suppiled side plate didn't work.
So I ordered a sheet of brass and cut my own.
First time it didn't come out too well.Will have to use that for a different project. The second time it came out Fine..
Took be a couple of days to make them both, but the satifaction of making one more part on my own is well worth it.
The stuff was so hard until I annealed it.
