The referendum to stop bear baiting, trapping and hounding failed.52%to 47%, so you can start planning!

For years I have read about bear hunting in Maine and wanted to go.

I made it to Alaska and had a nice time.

Maine is not on my list any more, as I have a nice bear, but glad to see hunting has returned, enjoy.

Yes! :hatsoff: I read this earlier today in a release from the USSA. Way to stick it to the HSUS who spent $2.5M trying to get bear hunting all but killed via restrictions.

USSA is THE predominant leader in fighting the anti's in the courts, congress, and state legislatures. They cannot do the whole job, but lend a lot of support with decades of experience. This is their only mission and they are definitely worth supporting if you value your hunting, fishing, and trapping rights.

I probably won't ever bear hunt again but I'm glad others will be able to hunt them in Maine.

The libs got it stuck to them on Tuesday. :blah:
