Borrowed from another web site:
A tough old Montana cowboy once told his grandson that, if he wanted to live
a long life, the secret was to sprinkle a little gunpowder on his oatmeal
every morning.
The grandson did this religiously, and he lived to the age of 93.
When he died he left 14 children, 28 grandchildren, 35
great-grandchildren .. and a 15-foot hole in the wall of the
crematorium.

A lil humor ne'er hurt no one Ah says!

He went out with a bang...

Mayby it was all of the NITRO tablets for his heart in his shirt pocket that helped a bit...

Reminds me of the story about Sonny coming home from Basic Training. He brought out a hand granade and showed it to Pap. "What's that?' says Pap. "I'll show ya, it'll make a big boom!" says Sonny, pulling the pin and chucking it into the outhouse. "Wait! Gran'pa's in there!" yelled Pap. About that time the grenade went off, scattering pieces of outhouse all over. Sonny and Pap ran toward the smoldering ruins as Gran'pa dragged himself up out of the pit. "Air you alright, Paw?" said Pap. "Wow!" said Gran'pa. "I'm sure glad I didn't let THAT ONE in the house!"
