Where can I find a brass pour spout?
IM trying to find a no frills spout. Jus t a spout and maybe a cap.
I have been all over the place on the net looking at muzzle loading supply places but nothing IM looking for yet.
Any help would be apprecited
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that Track of the wolf has 'em. Dixie Gun works. Log Cabin Shop.

Tried those guys. They just have the same old stuff. Dixie has some descriptions up but no pics for that item.
Just looking for a plain old brass spout, small size to fit in horn no measuring device or spigots.

Have you thought of useing a brass shell caseing and makeing your own? you could take your pick of size to meet whatever your need is from .22 to 45-70. Just an idea...may not be suitable for what you want to do.

I'm gonna echo Longknife's recommendation about shell casings.
Necked .30 cal. serves well. File some ribs in the side of the casing and epoxy that baby in. You might also scope outfits that sell lamp fittings -if ya don't like the made-to-order stuff from the muzzleloading suppliers.....Longshot

What a GREAT idea. :master: There are some really nice, period-appearing finials out there that would work. Screw-on finial and a short length of tube, you can even "hide" a threaded lamp tube inside a wood tube, only a small bit of thread showing for the finial to attach.

:imo:I'd only be careful of the cheaper parts made of brass-plate over steel. Bring a magnet when shopping and make sure it's brass.

I'm really gonna have to pick up some horns soon. There's too many ideas flying around and if I don't get started I'm gonna forget most of them.
