What is a good cutting tool to use to cut brass ? I hate to admit it, but I made a mistake :cursing: while building my Lancaster and thought that I can cover the mistake w/ brass. Any ideas

Files and a jewelers saw work well, even a hacksaw. You can chisel it as well, as its reasonbly soft.

Ski.... buddy... we need details man !!!

If you have a camera, let see the mistake.... if not tell us where and how bad.

I drank to much No7 one night and decided to inlet a entry thimble.... next morning it was time to make a patch to cover the mistake. Here's a picture.

The jeweler's saw (or if it is very simple a hack saw) will get you close.
A fine tooth file will smooth it out and finish its edges. (don't forget to put a little draft on the edges).
