Marble Gladston

I was looking at a loading rod that I got with a gun ,and it is marked MARBLE GLADSTON Mich USA.Did Gladston sell a black powder loading rod or was it a promotional deal to sell gun sights? This rod is aluminum.

The rod you have was made by Marble Arms, located in Gladstone, Michigan. Marble Arms marketed a wide variety of sporting gear over the years, including sights, rifle/shotgun cleaning kits, knives, hatchets, axes, compasses, etc. The only rods I have seen that were made by Marble Arms were rifle and shotgun cleaning rods.
