Yes I have a 1/2 scale Napoleon , just the barrel, 2 1/4'' bore, steel lined, no touch hole. This was purchased from a gentleman that was into Civil War reenactment . Seen similar from Dixie gun works. I even have his uniforms to go with it. What do you want to give. Pick up would be around center of Michigan.
thanks, I will try to find themRock Island has a bunch in their upcoming auction
Hern is who made our two cannons. The little 33” swivel gun and the 50-some inch Parrott rifle replica minus the actual rifling. You must drill the touch holes yourself, so measure 100 times before drilling. Angle the hole slightly.Do a search for Hern Iron Works. They manufacture many different cannon and mortar barrels
I haven't bought from them but have been considering a Coehorn Mortar

Dismount, cannons are a lot of fun. They do eat powder up, though. Even the little ones shoot 2-4 ounces of FG with each shot.

here is our 17 year old son firing the swivel gun on July 4th. It is crudely mounted, for a reason.
Ok also angle hole toward breech of tube? Also what kind of drill bit did you use? Use a hand drill ?Hern is who made our two cannons. By the way the shipping on these could have been prohibitive. Fortunately I had a client in the logistics and shipping business, and we had them crated, picked up, and shipped via genuine logistics effort.
Follow the drilling directions the maker provides. By phone. They won’t put it in writing. If I recall accurately, we used a 1/8” titanium coated bit in a regular corded electric drill. Yes, I said to angle the hole, but now whether it’s forward or backward is uncertain. Again, the maker will tell you.Ok also angle hole toward breech of tube? Also what kind of drill bit did you use?
