They stopped making them long ago. They come up on auctions rarely. I posted on here last year and in about a month a member offered me this one. An original kit still in shrink wrap. I had one in the late 70's that I had chrome plated. It was sweet!

Latest Progress. Body is as done as I am going to get it, sanded to 400 grit. The hammers are at 180 grit. I need to sand and finish the grips and trigger guard and install the front sight post. Will be a few weeks before I get a chance to complete it. Heading out for vacation soon.

Interesting how the wood grips darkened after removing them from the shrink wrap. I hope to get this finished up this weekend.
