I MUST give this gentleman a shout out.

I few months ago I purchased a beautiful antique ladies rifle in .30 caliber. It’s got to be the most petite rifle I’ve ever handled. It has a Golcher lock with no half cock.

I'm guessing someone over rotated the hammer looking for full cock, and cracked the tumbler pretty badly.

After some online homework I decided to send it to Tony South, Micro Precision Welding. I sent him the video, and he replied, "Oh yeah, no problem. I can fix you up."

He wasn't lying. He ground out the crack with a dental drill and laser welded to perfection.

It reassembled and function tested perfectly without any filing or re-fitting. I would recommend him for any tiny pieces you have that are in need of welding repair. He was also very affordable. This was a $50 repair.
