Antique musket lock, no idea what it is or where made as I'm not a Civil War guy but I'm guessing it's somewhere around 1830s - 1860s. Maybe Belgian? I don't think it's American. Obviously some kind of armory percussion conversion. Very solid and tight except it needs an upper bridle screw (I have a temp in there that's functional but it needs a slightly larger one) and a tumbler screw. Sear spring is the rustiest part, pretty crusty but still works perfectly. Mainspring still very strong, lock will be very functional if someone wants to take the time to clean it up a bit. Around 6 1/2" + long overall. $100 mailed USPS anywhere conus, paypal payment only.
