Here is a project for someone. It’s a Miroku Japan made tower pistol sold by Dixie Gun works many decades ago. Appears to be .62. I didn’t measure it. There has been a crude attempt to remove the Japan and Dixie gun works stampings on the barrel. Bore is smooth and appears to have never been fired. The reasoning for this is probably because the lock doesn’t spark at all. The lock works as it should but it is very crude and the frizzen is soft. It appears the entire gun has a thin layer of shellac or some sort of dried caramelized oil on it including the lock. It is missing the front lock screw. With a proper lock the remainder of the gun isn’t all that bad. Sold as is. No whining and complaining that it needs work once received. It is a project gun. It is not a shooter in its present condition. With a hardened frizzen it would shoot as is. $170.00 and I’ll cover the shipping.
