MLF FLAG??????

anybody know how we could get a flag that would show that we are members of this great forum? now i mean a PC flag we could fly (proudly) from our tents at rendezvous. seems alot of members are at a vous but without someone saying they have a walltent(white?!? :shocked2 ) with a board out front..with their name on it.(an a fire,woodpile.etc.)anyone got any ideas? :hmm: yeah well the bumperstickers are great but won't fly at a vous...ah gees.... RC :redface: we got a commercial flag/banner maker amongst us? course we'd have to clear it the authorities...(hi claude!) :surrender:

Great idea. And you're right about the bumperstickers, they'd be a bit tacky stuck all over a wall tent.

I've been working on a logo, similar to one I made, that's being used by the Traditional Muzzleloading Association. Would that be what you mean?

That's the one being used by the TMA. The one I'm working on for the Forum is different.

I will be making several different designs for mugs, t-shirts, etc. Adding a small flag would be easy.

I, for one, would be interested in a flag/ banner for the MLF.

If they started showing up at primitive events, we may gain more members.

More members leads to an organization... an organization leads to a movement... :grin: :haha:

Hello Claud,

RC has a novel idea I think about having a flag from the forum at the shoots and Friendship perhaps at the campsites. If we were allowed to fly them I would fly one from my tent!

And what about a tent with a bumper stickers and other things mugs, shirts etc and info about the forum where people could come by and chat with a member or two. The main focus would be that we want to have as many folks getting on board with the Black Powder movement and we (The Forum) are in the business of preserving a cerain part of the movement, Traditional Firearms and topics.

Just a thought! I would be willing to put in some time at a small booth to hand out and sell stuff at Friendship or Phoenix for the forum if you take the notion.

That "Traditional Muzzleloading Association" was a dead giveaway! but the idea is what I thinkin about...I'm sure you'll come up with a design,that will be easily recognized as MLF..(I cannot wait to see[url] this..Claude[/url] has a very imaginative mind! :winking: gees I'm excited! our own flag!) an t-shirts would be GREAT! the bumperstickers keep fallin off mine,(an when they come out'a the washer.. :shocked2: )an gees ya can't have enough cups! :hmm: primitive type cup,with design on bottom,ya could use at a 'vous....drink up! :rotf: well claude, if ya want,we could like "pre order" to get an idea on number of flags needed? (100 OR 5000?), I'm sure t-shirts and cups will go fast...thank you claude! it's a honor bein a member of this forum,an I'll be settin up my tent with my MLF t-shirt on,beverage(?) in my MLF cup, and salutin the MLF flag as she flys above my tent.....better send more cups..may run into a "dry" forum member..or two.... :shocked2: RC :hatsoff:

One thing I learned from doing the first bumper sticker, was the fact the it was a big advertisement, but nothing in the way of an attractive design.

The next projects will be different. The emphasis will be on the design, with a "mention" of the Forum.

That's good. Though I liked the Bess, I wasn't too keen on having a website on my car. Perhaps something more iconic that will become synonomous with the MLF?
