Looking for someone in the Mn or western WI area who wants to do some shootn. Possibly some patterning.

I'm still having issues with this pedersoli. We have the hammer hitting right, and replaced the nipples.

We're headed to ND for roosters next week (just got down here), and quite possibly some birds in MN.

Not sure if anyone is around or not. It's rain city here but I'd stil like working on the pattern of this thing I'd like to call a fine shooting weapon someday ;)

Sorry this pic is so long in coming. Been going full bore on my canoe and forgot about it.

SO here it is, Slayton Mn 2007.

My bro is bottom left, my Dad, center. I'm upper left in the flannel.

Was a riot. My dad and I were the only two shooting bp's, the rest were shooting modern shotguns. Still a riot!

Thats fantastic Akdan, was you using the 10ga and what were the shots you had? Loads? Did you get applause?
It allways makes me feel very satisfied when shooting with modern guns to down birds with the old way.

Sorry my dad is center on the bottom by my Bro...to the right of my dad is Chris, my brothers bud from Ely Mn where they went to college for law enforcement together. Hopefully soon my lil bro is going to be a CO in MN. He's to the background stage and has 2 current co's pulling for him. Dream job I think all the boys including my dad had at one time, and one of us finally is going to do it. The rest of us...we'll we're all working stiffs :)!

Britt,

We must of been posting at the same time last nite lol.

I used the turkey loads I had worked up last springout of the troubled pedersoli the one that didnt want to fire all the time, we gotter fixed.

105 gr pyd
1 1/2 5s
powder, os, 1/8, shot, os in the mod

and regular
powder, 1/8, full cush, shot, and overshot in cyl barrel.

I dont know about applause though lol. I didnt get much shootn, but had a blast. Got behind on one bird, shot the two. It was a little different though as I hadn't hunted roosters since I was oh 16 maybe 17 yrs old. Like I said, saw a ton of birds. Learnt quite a bit on that hunt. I'll be going south for roosters again hopefully next fall and hopefully to the dakotas. We couldnt get the beans out of the field in the first two weeks I was home, so had to extend the leave another week ;)
