made me a pair of mocassins today had it measured perfect for my feetgot them together looked pretty good for my first time and tried to put them on and they were to small :hmm:

Buckskin stretches pretty easily, so soak 'em in water then wear 'em dry.

When properly made, moccassins are snug. Wet them well and work them gently onto your feet. Walk them dry and they should stretch....

I don't feel any pair of shoes or boots of any kind, including mocs, are properly broken in until walked in wet. However, I don't agree with soaking the footwear to get it wet enough to conform to the foot. I think it's better to get them on and walk through a heavy dew, or to spray them with water from some sort of squirt bottle to get a dewey effect. Soaking tends to lead to overly stretched items. Just dampen them.

Wetting by soaking or wetting them by walking in wet grass is pretty much the same thing....
