I must admit, the bag design is not of mine own but of another leatherworker, I set out to make some changes and design my own bag out of his ideas and mine own. I must say it turned out beautifully. This is a Mountain Man Beaver Tail Style Possibles Bag made from a rugged oil-tanned cowhide and hand sewn with tough artificial sinew. The front flap has a Cinch Strap that can secure the contents of the bag by wrapping it around the brass D-ring. The bag is decorated with a Moose Tooth, Raccoon Tail, a "four directions" beaded rosette, and the front flap has been border stitched by hand with faux sinew. The inside of the flap has been lined with pillow ticking. All crow beads that are on the fringe are all real glass trade beads and not fake plastic. It features a 2" strap with a handforged handmade brass buckle. The strap is thick 5oz tanned cowhide and features a welt on the inside of the bag to ensure the strap will stand for generations, I gaurentee. On the back is a stitched holder for your ball starter. It also features a handmade ball bag from a simulated braintan deerhide and also is adorned with glass trade beads. The antler ball starter (50-54 cal) is handmade by me and was aged from a deer antler that came from the Deschutes National Forest near Bend, Oregon. The bag measurements are as follows; Main bag is 9" wide x 9" high with a 2" gusset. The interior pocket is app. 4x4" at the widest points. The hand cut fringe on the sides and bottom is 3-12" in length. Strap length is 57" long middle hole, adjustable out to 61 1/2" and in to 52 1/2" with a total of 7 holes of adjustment. This bag and its extras were a labor of love, due to all the materials, time, and labor, I'm asking the price of $225 free shipping to lower 48 United States only. Payment options are; USPS money order, personal check, or cash, and PayPal “Friends and Family” only. Thank you for stopping by!
