The several further west I am at Ft Riley and theres some in Topeka, Flint Hills, and the surrounding areas. Hint buy extra powder and caps its hard to get around here.

Thanks for the information. We've been looking in Lee's Summit. So both are a short drive.

I saw that a while back. Do travel a circuit for events or do you have a local club?

I belong to the Nevada club. Last year I went to Holden and Hermitage. Had planned to make it to more but had to fix two cars so my playing money went to the auto parts store. If you join the Missouri offhand and go to I think 7 shoots they give you a medal or something like that. I must have looked like the new guy when I showed up at Holden lots of very nice people to help out.

Looking forward to the search of the area. I'll check the Mo. offhand and make the trip to Holden and Nevada this year if things all work out. Thanks for the information.

You might consider the Fort Osage Muzzleloaders Club. Range is roughly 20 miles east of Lee's Summit. Great people, helpful, fun, very nice range, some top notch shooters, oh, did I say fun?

Yes, It's not the same as the state. Ft. Osage is up or down the road from Holden. If you get a chance you need to try and make Hermitage. Last year was the first time I had been and other then melt your skin hot, it was a blast with a hugh trader row for what it had been in past years. You drive through Kingsville to get to Holden if you go down 58 highway.

There's the first santa fe trail plainsman south of lawrence is. Down by Overbrook KS. Meets 3rdsunday of the month.
