This is a replica of a Scottish Murdoch and hasnt yet had the touch hole drilled. It has had a flint in and checked for sparking.

An exact copy of an Alexander Murdock pistol. Murdock produced firearms in Scotland around the 1770's. All steel, very decorative, not vented - NON FIREABLE. Fullstock, steel, bright finish with steel frame, and ram horn butt. Caliber is .52 smoothbore. Tapered round w/bands & octagon muzzle. No sights. Flintlock, single shot, steel furniture, bright. Has silver nameplate on grips. Single ball trigger. Belt hook w/pierced base. Recommended load 30 grains FFFg powder with .510 round ball and .015 patching. Imported.
