Murphys oil soap

Hi there sorry to bother you but i live in south africa and have never heard of murphys oil soap. Could someone please give a discription so i could locate a substitute to make up Stumpys moose snot etc, to try as a different lube for patches.

I've been doing a little research, and detergent synthetic motor oils might substitute.

I use a product called " Wood cleaner" made by Johnsons the polish people. I'm told its the same. It certainly makes good MS.
