Has anyone bought one of these? They are priced real low, I think because they are made as smoothies rather than rifles. I'd be interested to hear what anyone has to say about them. Thanks :hatsoff:

Mr. Feyer.
Email me if you wish- I bought one and I was generally pleased with the quality. The musket is the same one, or basically the same one, that Loyalist Arms sells on their site. The lock was marked 1856 and Tower. Honestly if you are simply using it as a smoke-pole, then it is good. Blows smoke and looks decent to most mainstream guys. If you want it for strict CW authenticity- then you'll need to do some work to defarb it, on the outside, for a Crimean War era Type II Enfield. But there isn't anything one can do to change the smoothbore. I did try and file some file grooves into the muzzle to give the impression that it was rifled- but it was a lot of work, and in the end I ended up selling it off. I do have a part or two to help you convert it to a Type II Enfield if you end up buying one. Drop me an email if you have specific questions. I am here to help.
