What do you think of the middlesex village trading co's New england fowler? Has anyone shot, held, carressed one? I'm new to this, and I love the look and the price looks about right for me too. Also would this piece be apropriat for mid 1700's Great Lakes area. French or English, don't mater as my roots are both.

thanks for your opinions, comments, snyde remarks

See the post further down the page "MVTC fowler, first impressions". Yes, I have held and shot one that my friend bought. Nice piece, but would take me some time to get used to the size and the doglock. Good fit and finish. Can't comment on how appropriate. I am in Michigan and my friend lives here too, and he did minimal research and I believe that he found it was ok for here.
