I debated years, ago on whether or not to get a repro 1842 Springfield smoothbore musket. I am sure glad that I did. I LOVE this musket. It is built like a tank. The mainspring is like a vise. I have never had a failure to fire and it is accurate. I cast my own balls, but don’t have to worry about sizing. I have engaged targets out to 75 yards with this musket. Also, pictured is my repro .36 Spiller and Burr revolver. Let’s see your arms from the “Late Unpleasantness”.
