My 3rd Build

Worked on my 3rd rifle build a little last night. This has been a slow project over several years working with a coach once or twice a month. It is my first build from a blank and it's got a ways to go, but it is shaping up as I learn slowly and steadily. My first build was a TVM late Lancaster, 2nd was a Jim Chambers PA Fowler. This is an iron-mounted southern style .40 with a L&R small Manton flintlock. Just thought I'd post a couple of pics for show and tell. . nothing is close to fully shaped yet.

Great to see your progress as a builder. So many never progress to the point of designing a gun from a blank and carrying it to completion. Keep it up!
