Doing some more shooting today with my Underhammer. With a dry clean barrel the point of impact is nearly the same as dirty! :)

I went to a thinner patch .015 white levi material, the old was a heavier .020-.022 and was quite tight for the .715 hard ball. I really like the strenght of the heavier material, but then I would have to buy another mold, a Tanner .705.

I also darkened my front sight pin, that helped too.

I can feel an Elk or Moose hunt in my future!!!!

This 12 bore likes lots of powder, 3F shoots a well as 2F, just less of it and much cleaner!

Some of todays shooting, I was tring out some of Stumpy's Moose Snot. It is east to make, and seems to work OK!
About 7/8", hard to measure the way the third shot tore the heavy paper. I need a new backer.
